Campus Evangelical Fellowship, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization established for the following purposes:
- Preaching and propagating the gospel of Christ.
- Coordinating campus evangelistic work.
- Developing and maintaining a fellowship among present and former college campus Christians, and encouraging their commitment and contribution to the evangelistic mission.
Our current focus is to support the ministry of
Taiwan Campus Evangelical Fellowship.
1960s
Chinese Bible study groups and fellowships emerged in the USA.
1975
Campus Evangelical Fellowship, Inc. (CEF) was established in Chicago, USA, to support the student ministry of Campus Evangelical Fellowship in Taiwan.
1980s
Chinese Bible study groups and fellowships gradually developed into Chinese churches. God raised up many church coworkers, pastors, speakers, and student ministry workers in the USA.
1990s
Large numbers of students and scholars from Mainland China came to overseas Chinese churches around the world, thirsting for the gospel and seeking the truth.
1992
Campus Evangelical Fellowship, Inc. founded Campus Evangelical Fellowship – Overseas Campus Magazine (CEF-OCM) in Torrance, a suburb of Los Angeles, USA. In November, the inaugural issue of Overseas Campus, a magazine dedicated to evangelizing Chinese intellectuals, was published. Over the years, Overseas Campus has developed ministries centered on the needs of Chinese intellectuals at home and abroad as well as Chinese churches, guided by the principles of “forward-looking vision, high-quality resources, and ecological connectivity.”
2010
On April 1, Overseas Campus Magazine separated from Campus Evangelical Fellowship, Inc. and was established as an independent Nonprofit organization. Campus Evangelical Fellowship, Inc. was relocated to Naperville, Illinois, near Chicago, USA.
2010–Present
Our primary focus has been on supporting the student ministry of Campus Evangelical Fellowship in Taiwan, as well as supporting student ministries in Europe.
